El Toreo puts players in the bullring, with roses framing GameArt's 5x3 reels and 10 paylines. A rose, a lady, a guitar and a sword are the premium symbols, and card ranks A to J pay less.

The matador is both the wild and the top-paying symbol, worth up to 5,000 coins for five. Three or more bull scatters award 12 free spins, and during the round any matador landing on reels 2, 3 or 4 expands to fill the reel and stays expanded until the feature ends.
