Lotus Heart

Lotus Heart is an oriental slot from Playtech with a blue backdrop and five zodiac-style animals – a pig, a chicken, a dog, a rabbit and a mouse – as its premium symbols. It uses 5 reels and 3 rows with 243 ways to win, medium volatility and a 96.27% RTP.

A koi fish ties the features together. When it lands on an animal, all five reels respin and the royals are cleared from that reel. In free spins, a koi on a wild triples every win that wild is part of. In the base game, wilds on reels 2, 3 and 4 expand to fill the reel. Three scatters pay up to 1,500 coins and start the free spins. Stakes go from €0.01 to €100, with a top win of €732,800.

The blue background and Asian-style artwork give the game a calm, oriental feel, and a soundtrack plays during the spins. The control bar sits at the bottom, and the game runs in the browser.

The pig, chicken, dog, rabbit and mouse pay from 100 coins for three up to 3,000 coins for five. A, K, Q and J pay 50 to 250 coins. Stakes go from €0.01 to €100 per spin.

With 243 ways to win, matching symbols must land on adjacent reels from the left, at least three in a row. The pig is the top symbol, at 3,000 coins for five.

• Wild: substitutes for all symbols except the scatter and lands on reels 2, 3 and 4 in the base game, where it expands to cover the whole reel. Expanding wild reels do not appear in free spins.
• Scatter: lands on reels 2, 3 and 4 only; three pay up to 1,500 coins and trigger free spins.
• Koi on a wild: during free spins, all wins with that wild get a 3x multiplier.
• Koi respin: a koi landing on an animal awards one respin of all five reels, and every reel where that happened has its royals removed.
