King Colossus

King Colossus is a Quickspin slot set inside the royal tent of a giant king, whose hoard of treasure is piled up below the reels. It plays on five reels, three rows and 40 paylines, with medium volatility and stakes from 0.4 € to 120 € per spin.

A lion wild pays up to 1,500 coins for five on a line, and three scatters on the middle reels award five free spins with an extra feature: either free spins wilds or a massive king symbol. During the round, bonus wilds can also appear at random on reels 1 and 5. With a 96.57 % RTP and a top win of 60000 €, it suits players who like fairy-tale royalty and bonus rounds with a twist.

King Colossus takes place inside a grand tent decorated in purple, with the giant king's treasure heaped up at the bottom of the screen. The colour scheme is rich and warm, giving the game a regal, storybook feel that stays easy on the eye. The king's treasure at the foot of the reels hints at the riches on offer in the bonus.

The command bar is placed at the bottom of the display, so stake and spin settings are always within reach, and a soundtrack plays in the background throughout. The graphics load smoothly in a web browser, with no download required.

King Colossus is a medium-variance slot. It pays regular smaller wins between spins, while the larger payouts call for some patience. That balance makes it a sensible choice for newcomers and an entertaining one for experienced players.

The paytable has two groups of regular symbols:

• Royal symbols: the king and a set of gems. Three on a payline pay from up to 60 coins, and five pay up to 300 coins.
• Card ranks A, K, Q, J and 10: the low-paying symbols, from up to 9 coins for three to up to 120 coins for five.
• Lion wild: the most valuable symbol on the reels.
• Scatter: appears on reels 2, 3 and 4 only.
• +1 spin symbol: a special symbol that the wild does not replace.

Before spinning, players set their stake in the command bar. The payout table lists a minimum of 0.4 € and a maximum of 120 € per spin, and autoplay can run a series of spins at the chosen stake.

Forty paylines cross the grid, giving every spin plenty of chances to connect. A payout needs at least three matching symbols on a payline.

The lion wild is the best symbol in King Colossus: five on a payline pay up to 1,500 coins, five times the top royal symbol. With so many lines in play, a single wild often contributes to more than one win. Wins on different lines in the same spin are added together.

The bonus features add extra wilds and a giant king:

• Lion wild: substitutes for every symbol except the bonus scatter and the +1 spin symbol.
• Free spins trigger: three scatters on reels 2, 3 and 4 initiate five free spins.
• Extra feature: every free spins round comes with one additional feature, either free spins wilds or a massive king symbol.
• Bonus wilds: during the free spins, two or more bonus wilds can appear at random on reels 1 and 5 on each spin, and they act as regular wilds.
• No gamble: wins are banked immediately.

The outer-reel bonus wilds complement the middle-reel scatters nicely: they help complete lines across the whole grid, and combined with a giant king or extra wilds they give the free spins their winning power.
