Game Description
Baccarat Punto Banco is the Red Tiger Gaming version of the classic card game in which two hands, the player (punto) and the banker (banco), are compared and the total closer to nine wins. The game brings the feel of a land-based table to a random number generator format, with no dealer schedule to wait for.
Players back the Player hand at 1:1, the Banker hand at 0.95:1 or a Tie at 8:1, and side bets on a Banker Pair or a Player Pair add higher-paying options. Table limits are wide, from €1 to €5,000 per hand, and the return to player is 98.77%. With low to medium variance, simple rules and a top payout of €55,000, it suits newcomers to baccarat as well as high-stake regulars who know the game well.
Table and presentation
The table follows a clean, familiar layout. Chips sit on the left of the screen and the command bar on the right, and sound effects accompany each deal. There is nothing to download: the game runs in a web browser on desktop and on mobile, so players can join a hand wherever they are.
Variance is low to medium, so results tend to be steady compared with slots, which is part of baccarat's appeal for players who prefer a calmer pace.
How to play
Each round starts with a bet. Players choose a chip value, from a minimum of €1 up to €5,000, place it on Player, Banker or Tie, and press Deal. Two cards go to each hand, and the hand whose total is closer to nine wins.
- Player: pays 1:1.
- Banker: pays 0.95:1, reflecting the commission on Banker wins.
- Tie: pays 8:1. Ties are less common, which is why they pay more.
Side bets and payouts
Beyond the three main bets, the table offers a Banker Pair and a Player Pair bet, which win when the first two cards of that hand form a pair. The paytable lists returns of up to 11:1 for these pair bets, the highest odds on the table. The maximum payout of €55,000 equals 11 times the €5,000 table limit.
As a pure card game, Baccarat Punto Banco has no wild symbols and no gamble feature. Every result comes from the cards alone.
Card values and drawing rules
- Cards 2 to 9 count at face value.
- An ace counts as 1.
- Kings, queens, jacks and tens count as 0.
- When a total reaches 10 or more, 10 is subtracted, so only the last digit counts. Two cards of 7 and 8 make 15, which counts as 5.
If either hand totals 8 or 9 with its first two cards, that is a natural and both hands stand. This rule overrides all others. Without a natural, a hand with a total from 0 to 5 can receive a third card under the game's fixed drawing rules. Players make no drawing decisions themselves, so the only choice is where to place the bet.
Choosing a bet
Because the drawing rules are fixed, the only decision in Punto Banco is the bet itself. The Banker bet pays slightly less than even money to account for the commission, while the Player bet pays a full 1:1. The Tie and the two pair bets pay much more but land far less often, so they suit players who want occasional bigger wins on top of a main bet.
The wide table limits make it easy to start small, learn the flow of the game and raise the stake later without changing tables.
Notes for operators
An RNG baccarat table is a low-maintenance way to serve players between live sessions or in markets where live dealers are not offered. The €1 to €5,000 range lets one table cover casual and VIP play, and the 98.77% RTP gives it a strong value message.
