Jousting Wilds

Jousting Wilds is a Red Tiger Gaming medieval slot set at a castle, where knights take to the lists and heraldic shields fill the reels. It runs on five reels, three rows and 20 paylines with medium volatility and a 94.62% RTP.

Wilds are the heart of the game. Princess wilds land as full wild reels, lock other wilds in place and trigger a re-spin with up to eight extra knight wilds, while big wild symbols can turn a whole reel wild. A white knight on reel 1 or 2 and a black knight on reel 4 or 5 start the Jousting Bonus, worth up to 500x the total stake. Stakes run from €0.20 to €100, and the top win is €210,000.

A castle and a sweeping landscape form the backdrop, and the colours give the fantasy theme a bright, attractive look. The control bar sits along the bottom of the screen, and a soundtrack plays throughout.

The slot runs in a desktop browser without a download and is mobile compatible, so it can be played on the go. Medium variance delivers frequent smaller wins with bigger payouts arriving less often.

Stakes range from €0.20 to €100 per spin. The paytable has two tiers:

• Shields: several heraldic designs, paying up to 300 coins for five on a line and 30 coins for three.
• Card symbols: A, K, Q, J and 10, paying up to 100 coins for five and 20 coins for three.

The knight wild is the best-paying symbol, ranking above both groups.

There are 20 paylines, and a win needs at least three matching symbols next to each other on a line. Five knight wilds on a payline pay 1,000 coins, the top line award.

• Knight wild: substitutes for all symbols.
• Princess wild: lands as a full wild reel, locks any other wilds on the screen and triggers a winning re-spin with up to eight extra knight wilds.
• Big stacked wilds: a big 3x wild symbol on a reel turns that reel into a wild reel.
• Jousting Bonus: a big white knight on reel 1 or 2 plus a big black knight wild on reel 4 or 5 starts the bonus. The player picks the knight to back in each joust, every win pays a random prize and unlocks the next round, and the jackpot is worth up to 500x the total stake.

With re-spins, wild reels and a multi-round bonus, the game keeps its wilds busy from start to finish.

Jousting Wilds is built for players who enjoy wild-heavy slots. Princess wild reels, locking re-spins, big stacked wilds and the multi-round Jousting Bonus all revolve around the knights, which gives the game a clear identity and a lot of action in the base game.

Stakes from €0.20 to €100 cover casual and regular players, and the €210,000 top win is 2,100 times the maximum stake. The 94.62% RTP sits a little below the market average. The medieval tournament theme fits well in a knights and castles collection, next to Dragon’s Wild and Legendary Excalibur, and its mobile compatibility makes it suitable for on-the-go play.
