Fan Tan

Fan Tan is a live version of a traditional Asian gambling game that was widely played in the 19th century, brought to the screen by SA Gaming. The table has a central box with its sides numbered 1 to 4, and a dealer reveals buttons from an opaque container to settle the winning number.

Players bet before the reveal, either on a single number or on combinations of two or three numbers, some of which treat one number as a push. Odds range from 1:2.85 for a single number down to 1:0.95 for two-number bets where both numbers win. The terminology takes a few rounds to learn, but the game rewards curiosity. Two camera angles, chat and limits from 5 € to 500 € make it a distinctive addition to an Asian live lobby.

The dealer first opens a betting period; players who miss it wait for the next round. The buttons are then mixed in an opaque container for a short time and revealed one after another. The result decides which of the four numbered sides wins, and payouts depend on the type of bet placed.
