Who is behind Nolimit City

The company dates from 2014, yet the people who started it brought more than ten years of earlier experience working with gambling software suppliers and operators. Today the head office is in Gzira, Malta, while development happens in two hubs: Stockholm in Sweden and Gurugram in India.

The team describes itself as quick, dependable and flexible, and it works with an established group of operators. Its aim is to look at slot design from a fresh angle and bring genuinely new ideas to the market.

Nolimit City holds licences from the Malta Gaming Authority and the UK Gambling Commission, two of the most respected regulators in iGaming. Its games are made to run across platforms, so players get the same experience on a desktop or a phone.

Three Nolimit City slots to know

The library is smaller than those of the industry giants, but quality and variety of design make up for it. These three titles show what the studio does best:

Deadwood
Players join a gang of gunslingers fighting for control of the Wild West town of Deadwood. The slot offers 576 ways to win and uses xNudge Wilds that nudge to fill whole reels and add multipliers, plus free spins and a string of other features. RTP is 96.03% and the top payout reaches 13,950x the bet.
San Quentin
Set inside the notorious maximum-security prison, this slot pits players against hardened inmates such as Crazy Joe Labrador. xWays mechanics deliver 243 ways to win, and stacked symbols, free spins and multipliers can build towards a maximum payout of 150,000x the bet.

Fire in the Hole
The first Nolimit City slot with xBomb, which blows away neighbouring symbols and adds multipliers even on losing rounds. The action takes place in a gold mine on a 6x3 grid that can grow to 6x6 with up to 46,656 ways to win. Lucky Wagon spins trigger free spins, and the xBomb Wild Multiplier, Wild Mining and a Feature Buy option complete the set.

Technology stack

JavaScript plays a big role in Nolimit City’s products: it lets operators that have no promotional tools of their own use every function the studio has built. HTML5 is the other core technology behind the games.

Play on any device

Because the games are built in HTML5, they run on desktops, laptops, tablets and phones alike, and the experience stays consistent whatever the screen size.

Promotional tools for operators

Nolimit City designs its features with operators in mind. Free spin campaigns can run across several channels and be targeted using static player information, player groups or custom events inside a game, so you decide exactly who receives each reward.

Licences and regulation

The studio is licensed by several regulators, including the Malta Gaming Authority, Curacao and the Swedish Gambling Commission. Meeting their strict requirements is what makes its games safe to offer on every platform.

Fair play checks

Fairness follows the same logic as security. Before a Nolimit City game can launch, it is reviewed under regulatory oversight to confirm that players get a fair chance of winning.

Awards won by Nolimit City

2021 was a standout year for industry recognition:
