Multiplayer Casino explained: playing with and against others online

A multiplayer casino is an online casino format that lets players compete against each other instead of only against the house. Most online casino games are built for one player against the operator. Roulette, baccarat and blackjack were designed that way, and many online poker variants are now played against the dealer too. Some players, though, prefer to compete with real people.

Multiplayer formats bring that social side back. They include poker rooms where players face each other, shared live dealer tables where many players bet on the same round, and slot tournaments. In a slot tournament you are not playing head to head, but you are competing with dozens of other players to climb a leaderboard and win prizes from the casino. For operators, tournaments and leaderboards are strong engagement tools, usually run through a platform’s tournament module across many games at once.
