Legacy of the Wild

Legacy of the Wild is a sorcery-themed slot from Playtech set in a wizard's study, where an old sage, a demon, a monster, a lady in red and a boy in purple are the main characters. It uses 5 reels, 4 rows and 40 paylines, with medium volatility and a 96.06% RTP.

The game is built around winning streaks. Wins cascade away for new symbols to fall in, and each consecutive win adds a page wild next to a book wild on the reels while lighting up a crystal ball. Five or more consecutive wins trigger free games – the longer the streak, the more spins – and during the round every book wild arrives with four adjacent page wilds. Stakes run from €0.4 to €120, with a €2,161,050 top win.

A magician's study with a mysterious atmosphere forms the backdrop, and a soundtrack plays throughout. The control bar sits at the bottom of the screen, and the game runs in the browser without a download.

The five characters are the premium symbols, paying 5 coins for three and up to 750 coins for five. Yellow, blue, green, red and purple ornaments pay 3 to 125 coins. Stakes go from €0.4 to €120.

There are 40 paylines on the 5x4 grid, and a win needs at least three matching symbols. The old gentleman in orange is the top character, at 750 coins for five; the wild pays the same for five.

• Book of wilds: the book wild substitutes for all symbols, and every consecutive win adds a page wild next to it.
• Cascading reels: winning symbols collapse and new symbols drop in.
• Wave-o-meter: each consecutive win lights a crystal ball; five or more in a row trigger the free games, with more consecutive wins earning more spins.
• Free games: every book wild lands with four adjacent page wilds.
