Seventh street is the final card and last betting round in seven-card stud and its split version, Stud Hi/Lo, also called stud eight or better. Each player receives a seventh card face down, giving them three hidden and four exposed cards from which to make the best five-card hand. It is the fifth betting round of the hand, after third, fourth, fifth and sixth street, and it plays the same role as the river in Hold’em.
After the last bets, any remaining players go to showdown. Because stud uses so many cards, a full table can run out before seventh street; in that rare case, the dealer turns over a single community card that every player shares. For operators offering stud online, clear street labels in the hand history make disputes easier to resolve.
