Sixth street is the fourth betting round in seven-card stud games such as Seven Card Stud and Stud 8 or Better. By then every player holds six cards, which is where the name comes from. If you mainly play Texas Hold’em, think of it as stud’s rough equivalent of the turn.
Players use the street names to pin down when something happened, as in “I raised on sixth” or “he folded on sixth street.” Only one round remains after it: seventh street, the final round of betting, when each player has all seven cards. The earlier rounds follow the same logic, from third street through fourth and fifth street.

Stud is a niche next to Hold’em, but the players who seek it out expect the traditional vocabulary. Labelling each betting round by its street in the game interface and hand histories makes the product feel authentic and makes disputes easier to settle.
